Emma has been glued to this toy ever since I brought it home for her on Saturday morning. It took her just a few minutes and she had it all figured out. It was so fun to watch her spinning all day. Pretty soon she started lining up her stuffed animals and requested that I help each one take a turn as well. She has a couple of stuffed bunnies that she's been packing around with her everywhere lately. They've even used the potty. Speaking of that, I've been a bad mom with potty training. Last Tuesday Emma spilled a glass of water all over my laptop- I'm still hoping my files can be recovered. Then at the end of the day she managed to spill a full bottle of sesame seeds all over the kitchen. Yes, I know it's my fault for leaving those things within her reach... So anyway, after a week of similar similar experiences I'd had it and I haven't been very consistent with reminding/helping her to go.

Back again...
Sorry for the unexpected break. It wasn't really planned, it just seemed that everytime I thought about updating the blog, something else popped up.
We bought a new house! That's been exciting. Dan's company recently was acquired and they have decided to move him to a different office across town. His commute would be way too long if we stayed put, and we hadn't really planned on being in this house for too long anyways. The best part... his company is going to pay for the move. Yay!!! That means no packing boxes! I'm thrilled. Dan is very happy with all the new changes at his work. We still haven't heard about his very last CPA test - every day we're hoping to see it in the mail.
Here are a few random pictures to update you on what Emma's been doing. Busy, busy girl!
We went to the county fair a few weeks ago. We had a great time. It was a lot smaller than the county fair that I'm used to. Less crowded, which was nice. Emma loved seeing all the different animals.
My friend came over with her kids recently. Emma loves her little baby boy, and plays with him the entire time. Here she's showing him how to type, because she is a professional already. She's going to make a great big sister... some day. :)One of Emma's favorite things to do is to help me cook. She loves to mix anything that is in the bowl. As soon as she gets her spoon dirty she wants to get a new one out.
